I am not sure if you’ll believe me but I had guessed ‘Janata Curfew’ even before our Honorable Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi, addressed the nation. Of course, the word ‘Janata Curfew’ wasn’t on my mind but I had guessed something like this considering the fact that we need to do something about social distancing on a bigger level. After the Prime Minister’s talk, I was glad to know I had guessed it right.
A lot of people have been asking me, especially my friends, on how can we manage a day without stepping out of the house. In fact, my friends are already cribbing and whining, as they have not been able to enjoy their “regular life” of mall hopping, drinking at the pub, feasting on delicacies, watching their favourite heroes on IMAX, and what not! Of course, even I do most of the above said and it’s indeed kind of draining me out sitting at home and constantly working.
You have the solution
At these unexpected situations, what can we do? How can we keep ourselves engaged? I had already mentioned in my Corona virus in Bengaluru post on how to engage your mind and how much importance it holds in keeping you physically and mentally healthy.
On the 22nd of March 2020, all you have to do is follow the 3rd tip in the post. Yes, it’s time to come out of the “self-gloom” and enjoy the day to the best you can. Whether you want to involve yourself in some deep meditation, or listen to some mind-blogging trance, or just lie on the couch binge-watching ZEE5 Originals; do whatever you want that makes you happy! Trust me, this works. By end of the day, you’ll feel a lot more rejuvenated and relaxed.
Let’s support Janata Curfew
So, are you ready for tomorrow’s Janata Curfew? All I can say is, let’s respect and adhere to Mr. Narendra Modi’s decision and stand together to achieve a goal that’s for the benefit of the nation. If we all can do this honestly, we can actually curb COVID-19 and it’s spread at a faster rate. So, stay safe and healthy at home tomorrow. And don’t forget what I said – Keep your mind engaged 🙂
